UKZN is the only university in the SA to offer a BSc degree programme in Marine Biology and equips young researchers to tackle threats facing SA’s marine systems.

UKZN's Aquatic Ecosystems Research programme will be presenting a range of research project outcomes related to the health of freshwater ecosystems in KZN and throughout Africa.

UKZN will showcase some of its innovative, multidisciplinary and world-class research aimed at providing holistic solutions to very complex problems arising from changes in various earth systems.
